Lawsuit Against EPA on Aircraft Emissions Fails to Consider Actions Already Underway

Washington, DC, March 9, 2012 – Members of the General Aviation (GA) Avgas Coalition say that a lawsuit filed against the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) by the environmental group Friends of the Earth (FOE) over piston-engine aircraft’s use of leaded aviation gasoline (avgas) is not taking into consideration the considerable work already completed toward the development and deployment of an unleaded solution.

Randy Babbitt Arrested for Drunk Driving – Placed On Leave of Absense

FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt was arrested for drunk driving by Fairfax, VA police on Saturday night. According to officers, Babbitt was pulled over for driving on the wrong side of the road. After being taken to the local jail, he was released on a personal recognizance bond.
